• Contribute to annual sales and profitability targets through inventory audits, replenishment, and customer training for inventory management programs within the assigned territory • Manage and coordinate inventory projects between internal and external customers • Drive business growth with new and existing customers as the point of contact for inventory-managed solutions • Perform inventory audits, source and order products, and project-manage new inventory solutions • Manage and facilitate inventory disposition at customer sites, reducing excess, dead, and discontinued stock • Audit and replenish inventory, resolve inventory adjustments and discrepancies, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with internal control procedures • Lead physical shop set-ups, including schedule coordination, communication, and follow-up • Lead due diligence visits to assess space and product needs and support implementation of inventory solutions at customer sites • Design shop planograms, receive product, and stock and label finished goods • Serve as subject matter expert for inventory solutions with cross-functional sales teams • Assist project managers with sales and growth strategy analysis and present market conditions and concerns to customers and leadership • Train new hires, vendors, customers, and other functional areas on inventory solutions • Assist with regional oversight of solution implementations at customer locations
• Must reside in South Carolina, the state specified for this posting • Experience with inventory management, cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock reconciliation • Background in retail, distribution center, warehouse, or supply chain operations • Strong project coordination and customer-facing experience • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently in a field-based role while managing multiple priorities and customer sites • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for inventory counts, audits, and customer visits • Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline; alternatively, an MS/MA with generally 3–5 years of related experience • Generally 5–8 years of experience in a related field for the BS/BA path • Certification is required in some areas • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems and make decisions with incomplete information • Ability to perform intermittent physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment weighing 50+ pounds • Willingness to travel overnight less than 10% of the time
