📋 Description

• Own design for the patient search results experience, including results tiering, provider cards, match explanations, filters and sort, and sparse and empty states • Design and run sustained experiments on a conversion-critical surface: frame hypotheses, design variants, read results, and decide next iterations • Shape how a provider's style and experience are expressed to patients, partnering with the Ranking and Profiles teams • Define a point of view on search results and turn it into shippable increments with the PM and engineering manager • Work with research and data to understand patient hesitation; conduct research when needed • Design for patients who do not yet know what they want • Raise the craft bar on a high-traffic patient surface and evolve the design system • Prototype in code and AI tools so the team can react to working experiences rather than static mockups • Work within the Patient Onboarding pod alongside a Staff Product Designer, PM, engineering manager, and researcher • Collaborate closely with the team computing provider relevance • Iterate on shipped surfaces continuously and respond to live experiment results

🎯 Requirements

• 5-8 Years of experience designing consumer products, with end-to-end ownership of a live surface people use every day • Portfolio showing mature, shipped craft on something dense and information-heavy • Experience iterating on a conversion-critical surface over months • Comfortable with numbers and skeptical of them; able to identify what to measure and what measures miss • Opinions about what to remove and ability to apply restraint to reduce choice overload • Ability to partner with PM and engineering as peers, share unfinished work, and hold a position under pressure • AI tools already part of the design practice; able to assess where they helped, where they were wrong, and what was overridden • Experience with marketplaces, search, discovery surfaces, or healthcare is a bonus rather than a requirement • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer • Must address whether visa sponsorship will be required now or in the future
