• Assist physician offices across Arizona, California, Nevada, Hawaii and the U.S. Pacific Territories with quality improvement initiatives • Implement clinical quality improvement activities with outpatient clinical practices for clinical care and chronic disease quality improvement projects • Generate clinical quality reports from various electronic health records (EHR) • Analyze data to identify care gaps • Assist with reporting quality measures • Provide process improvement interventions to close gaps in day-to-day practice workflows • Engage and assist Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), and independent provider offices on quality improvement projects • Apply MIPS, APM, and/or HEDIS reporting requirements • Use Root Cause Analysis, PDSA, workflow redesign, data trending, and data analysis to identify and address bottlenecks • Educate providers on reengineering processes and improving performance or documentation on quality indicators • Communicate regularly with providers about project goals and technical assistance needs • Assess provider EHR systems and quality improvement/reporting barriers • Research and develop intervention-support resources • Support medical claims submission of quality measures using billing and coding knowledge • Write reports and document interventions using tools such as SharePoint • Contribute to occasional Requests for Proposals or Success Stories • Perform other assigned tasks
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Nursing or Public Administration • Four years leadership / management / clinical care experience in a physician practice or a specialty/multi-specialty physician group required • Proficiency in MIPS reporting requirements • Understanding of the changing healthcare marketplace, especially technology diffusion in the physician's office • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Proficient oral and written communication and interpersonal skills • Direct working knowledge of day-to-day operations of a clinical practice • Strong operational knowledge of the Quality Payment Program and value-based models • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), registries, and/or health information exchange (HIE) • Understanding of medical billing and coding terminology, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS • Ability to work independently • Ability to work occasional extended hours when required by project deadlines
