📋 Description

• Research and understand healthcare system websites, databases, and reference materials in accordance with departmental and corporate policies • Research and document requested information such as primary care physicians, dentists, specialists, eldercare services, nursing homes, and related resources • Identify appropriate benefit plans and benefit offerings when applicable • Provide accurate, easy-to-understand research findings to nurses, advocates, and internal partners • Respond to member requests by delivering clear, specific resources and available options • Enter and maintain accurate documentation within internal systems • Compile research results in a user-friendly format to support member decision-making • Track cases and conduct timely follow-ups with members and providers • Ensure all work complies with quality standards, internal procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and COBRA • Monitor recurring research issues or trends and escalate concerns to leadership as appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Associate degree in business, liberal arts, healthcare management, or a related field preferred • At least one year of healthcare-related experience preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette • Excellent listening skills and ability to understand and clarify requests • Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution abilities • Exceptional customer service skills and commitment to quality • Solid organizational and multitasking skills, including consistent follow-up • Comfort using MS Word, Excel, and web-based research tools • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) may be required based on assignment • Ability to work in a home office environment with appropriate lighting, a computer, and phone access • Strong concentration, attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
