📋 Description

• Participate in the completion of remote and on-site chart audits for clients regarding clinical, HOPE, and billing issues • Conduct ADR/UPIC/SMRC/OIG chart reviews for clients upon request • Document summary reports regarding audit results and forward them to the supervisor and client • Possibly conduct mock surveys for hospice agencies • Keep updated on Medicare hospice issues using websites, teleconferences, newsletters, magazines, and other resources • Answer clinical questions from clients or potential clients by email • Participate in teleconferences, meetings, and forums focused on Medicare hospice issues • Potentially perform related research and write hospice-related articles for the HPS Blog • Travel approximately one-third of the time • Provide clinical consulting services to home care and hospice clients

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in hospice auditing/compliance, preferably the last two years • Travel at least 1/3 of the time • Registered Nurse or Therapist • Experience with Mock Surveys • Experience in multiple EMR systems for hospice is a MUST • Ability to work full-time • Salary-exempt
