📋 Description

• Manage the organization’s technology operations, infrastructure and development teams • Oversee software development for product development and IT infrastructure, systems, and user support • Promote technology-driven innovation and problem solving across the organization • Ensure smooth operation, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems • Develop and enforce local IT policies, procedures, standards, and cybersecurity protocols • Oversee IT support services to maintain user satisfaction and minimize downtime • Oversee design, development, and maintenance of in-house software applications and systems • Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including code quality, testing, and deployment • Drive agile development methodologies and efficient project management and delivery • Lead, mentor, and manage software developers, IT professionals, and support staff • Manage talent acquisition, professional development, and performance management for the Technology department • Develop and manage the technology budget • Evaluate, select, and manage third-party vendors, service providers, and consultants • Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Sales to provide technology solutions • Participate in establishing strategic direction and translating strategy for the team • Direct activities through managers or senior professional staff • Interact with executives and major customers/stakeholders • Make recommendations for objectives, policies, and plans • Manage staffing, budgets, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, promotions, and salary increases

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading and scaling technology teams in a growth-oriented environment • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, IT infrastructure management, and cybersecurity best practices • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills • Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations • Strategic thinking and hands-on problem-solving ability • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, including managing software development and IT infrastructure teams • Prior experience working in a regulated environment • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field is preferred • Travel can be as much as 15% • Local candidates are ideal, though remote is considered
