📋 Description

• Drive Healthfirst's cloud infrastructure and operational excellence strategy • Manage enterprise solutions across public and private clouds • Automate system deployment and configuration management • Establish standards across the public and private cloud footprint • Support private-cloud Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure technologies • Work across infrastructure and operations portfolios, including operating systems, middleware, storage, databases, and infrastructure products • Provide informal coaching and direction to the I&O Engineering team • Analyze and resolve complex issues as a subject matter expert • Develop repeatable automation and prevent recurrence of mission-critical system problems • Participate in a Cloud Center of Excellence for cloud usage and development standards • Maintain an accurate inventory of server, storage, networking, software, hardware, and virtual environments • Ensure cloud usage meets governance standards and improve security and operational efficiency • Create Standard Operating Procedures for Healthfirst operations teams • Serve as a senior escalation point for incident and ticket resolution • Participate in an on-call rotation • Provide technical leadership to Infrastructure & Operations and Development teams on cloud technology and automation • Perform other duties as assigned or required

🎯 Requirements

• Technical degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution with equivalent work experience • Experience designing, building, and managing Linux/Unix-based and Windows systems • Extensive cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc. • I&O Engineering work experience including oversight of public and private cloud technologies • Proven experience with automation scripting tools including BASH, Python and/or PowerShell • Extensive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with automation and open-source tools • Proven experience identifying repeatable processes and partnering with teams to drive innovation and automation • Advanced degree in Computer Science or Technical field (preferred) • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred) • GCP/Nutanix Certification (preferred) • Experience in a Cloud Center of Excellence and driving business innovation (preferred) • Experience implementing cloud services with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Ansible, or Terraform (preferred) • Experience supporting Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD integration (preferred) • Experience supporting and integrating database services on-premise and in cloud-hosted technologies (preferred) • Expert understanding of cloud security best practices and least-privileged access in AWS (preferred) • Deep troubleshooting skills involving logs, network traces, configuration data, and automation tools (preferred) • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications (preferred) • Experience working with development teams to create cloud-native applications (preferred) • Experience with system health monitoring and performance optimization following SRE principles (preferred) • Experience in regulated and/or high-security environments such as PCI, HIPAA, or HITRUST (preferred)
