• Lead and evolve membership engagement and retention strategies across multiple brands, with clear goals and performance tracking • Analyze member behavior, engagement trends, and churn drivers; translate insights into prioritized actions and experiments • Partner with Membership Operations to improve the end-to-end member experience and operationalize key initiatives • Collaborate with Marketing to design and optimize scalable lifecycle campaigns, including onboarding, renewal, winback, and reactivation • Build and manage a robust testing roadmap (A/B and multivariate), measure impact, and scale successful strategies • Identify and pilot new communication channels and tactics (e.g., SMS, push notifications) to increase engagement • Work cross-functionally with Editorial, Product, and other teams to ensure seamless execution of membership initiatives • Support the development and rollout of new membership offerings, clearly communicating value to both new and existing members
• 5+ years of experience in B2C subscription or membership businesses, with a focus on engagement, retention, and/or lifecycle marketing • Proven track record of improving retention and reducing churn across customer segments or brands • Strong analytical skills with experience using performance data and BI tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, or similar) • Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment • Experience in media, digital, or consumer products is preferred • This is a hybrid role based in New York City with an in-office requirement of 4 days per week
