📋 Description

• Configure, maintain, and validate data mappings connecting customers’ third-party systems with Higher Logic applications • Translate incoming JSON objects and properties into target objects and properties, including custom objects and fields • Apply transformations, formulas, conditional logic, filters, and literal values to meet customer use cases • Support new customer onboarding, data conversion, ongoing integrations, and changing customer systems and data models • Review source-system documentation, sample JSON payloads, and available data to clarify technical requirements • Run and validate mappings, compare source and destination results, verify relationships and use-case outcomes, and investigate data issues • Diagnose mapping and configuration issues, document findings, and escalate connector or platform defects with reproducible examples • Identify requirements for third-party system or use-case support and specify platform, API, or authentication enhancements • Maintain mapping specifications, configuration records, test evidence, guidance, limitations, and troubleshooting procedures • Develop reusable mapping templates and validation checks • Enable Integration Services, onboarding, and support teams through documentation and training • Provide technical escalation support and direct customer support when needed • Partner with customer implementation and support teams on integration documentation and guidance • Provide the Project Manager with technical progress, findings, effort estimates, dependencies, and risks • Join customer or vendor discussions when technical clarification is needed • Use approved AI tools to improve mapping, analysis, validation, and documentation, while verifying outputs and results • Recommend and, where appropriate, prototype interfaces, reports, and utilities for mapping oversight and exception handling • Report directly to the VP, Product Management and work closely with the Project Manager and Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to understand structured data and JSON, including objects, properties, identifiers, relationships, and custom fields, and translate business requirements into accurate source-to-target mappings • Practical skill with data transformation, formulas, conditional logic, filters, and validation • Ability to learn a mapping interface and independently configure and troubleshoot mappings within established practices • Working proficiency with SQL and API testing sufficient to support data checks and technical diagnosis • Understanding of SaaS integrations, APIs, authentication, and data synchronization • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through across multiple customer configurations • Clear written and verbal communication with technical and nontechnical colleagues, customers, and vendors • Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and use AI effectively while validating results and following company requirements for sensitive data and system access • Experience in data conversion, data migration, technical implementation, integration configuration, or a related role involving mapping, transformation, and validation of customer data • Experience with AMS or CRM implementations preferred • Experience with associations or understanding of their operations, member needs, and software ecosystems is a plus • Experience maintaining customer-specific configurations and troubleshooting data issues across connected software systems • SaaS experience preferred • Experience with scripting, software development, or reading code helpful • Experience using AI-assisted tools such as Cursor and Replit is a plus • Familiarity with MCP, reusable AI skills, or tools for building internal reports and utilities is helpful
