📋 Description

• Manage government billing activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant invoice submissions • Validate billing data, audit system inputs, and resolve complex billing discrepancies • Analyze billing trends, research issues, and coordinate with internal teams to maintain data integrity • Explain billing requirements and invoice details to program staff, clients, and auditors • Support funding oversight by reviewing expenditures, contract mods, and program financial status • Apply program cost knowledge to ensure billing aligns with budgets, forecasts, EAC/ETC updates, and contract terms • Assist in preparing financial reports, variance insights, and other data supporting billing decisions • Maintain accurate records for funding, revenue, and closeout documentation • Support internal/external audit requests and recommend improvements to billing processes and systems • Collaborate with Program Managers, Contracts, Procurement, and Accounts Receivable to ensure billing accuracy and resolve issues

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; • 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or • High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience • Experience with government billing practices and financial/accounting procedures • Knowledge of Costpoint or similar systems • Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills • Ability to interpret financial data and resolve billing or collections issues • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, especially Excel
