📋 Description

• Own execution of system administration for IDEAS as Key Personnel, directing System Administrator support and coordinating with the Database Administrator and ISSO • Administer RHEL, Apache HTTP, Oracle Java, and Oracle WebLogic across Performance, Staging, and Development environments • Perform system builds and decommissions, manage user accounts, security groups, and file permissions • Administer application-layer components including Appian, Oracle applications, and WebLogic in Staging and Production • Submit Enterprise Change Requests to the Change Advisory Board and DISA OS, database, and web administration groups • Test and document security patches in lower environments using automated scripts and schedule production deployments • Serve as named alternate to the ISSO for STIG checklist reviews, ACAS and HBSS findings, IAVA remediation, and POA&M inputs • Manage the DoD PKI certificate lifecycle, including CSRs, installation, expiration tracking, CRL updates, and certificate removal • Automate log inspection with shell scripting and Splunk and produce ranked risk and trend reports • Keep server application components within two releases of the vendor baseline • Produce and maintain system administration documentation, SOPs, SSP inputs, system diagrams, administration and troubleshooting guides, and critical-service lists • Support achieving and maintaining Authority to Operate

🎯 Requirements

• Must possess an active Secret Clearance • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux in production • 5+ years administering Oracle WebLogic Server • Experience patching, tuning, and securing Apache HTTP and Java applications • Hands-on DISA STIG implementation, ACAS remediation, and IAVA compliance in a DoD Risk Management Framework environment • DoD PKI and SSL/TLS certificate management • Bash scripting for automation and Splunk or a comparable log analysis tool • Experience working through formal change control in a government-hosted environment • Experience on at least two projects in a large organization administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale application
