Hipp Health is an AI-native clinical operations platform for ambulatory therapy practices (starting with Applied Behavior Analysis and expanding into Speech and Occupational Therapy). The platform provides end-to-end workflows including intake (SMS, portal, referral capture), scheduling, clinical care (session notes, treatment plans, clinical decision support), billing and revenue cycle management (claims, denials, payer calls), and compliance/HIPAA security. Hipp automates administrative tasks with agents and AI features to reduce denials, speed payments, streamline scheduling, and improve documentation quality, targeting therapy practices and clinics.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure and BI processes • Drive the continued evolution and optimization of the analytics data platform • Develop, maintain, and manage dynamic dashboards and reports using data visualization tools • Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and root causes, and present findings clearly to stakeholders • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications • Monitor data quality and integrity, ensuring accuracy and reliability of reports • Analyze product usage and use insights to drive data-driven product strategy • Collaborate with Product Managers and Data Scientists to architect scalable schemas and maintain high standards for warehouse integrity and precision • Drive creation, maintenance, and improvement of the data platform underlying ML and AI efforts • Create and refine data models used by clients to operate their practices and inform strategic decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics, with a focus on building production-ready data pipelines and models • Experience with building and maintaining data warehouses for ETL, operational analyses, stakeholder reporting, etc. • Experience with orchestration layer (e.g., Airflow, Prefect), data governance, OLAP database, schema design, and query optimization • Proficiency with Git workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews) to manage data transformation code • Proven expertise in a major BI tool (e.g., Omni, Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for creating reports and dashboards • Advanced skill in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis, especially in the context of DBT projects • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and provide data-driven recommendations • Experience with software development best practices (CI/CD, unit testing, documentation, modular coding) • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Experience within the health sector is a significant advantage • Experience working in the health industry or with healthcare-related data is preferred • Hands-on experience with a programming language outside of SQL or SAS, especially Python or R, is preferred • Deep experience with DBT is preferred • Must answer whether employer-sponsored work authorization will be required to work in the United States
