📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain production-ready data models and semantic layers using advanced SQL and analytics engineering best practices • Ingest and blend payer claims, attribution rosters, quality measure extracts, EMR/clinical data, and operational logs • Execute fast-turnaround ad-hoc SQL queries and deep-dive analyses addressing operational, clinical, and financial questions • Define and standardize business metrics for practice operations, provider utilization, clinical quality measures, and Value-Based Care performance • Partner with IT, Operations, Clinical Support, and Payer Relations to gather requirements and translate operational needs into technical logic • Conduct automated data validation, quality assurance testing, and performance tuning of data warehouse queries and transformation jobs • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on data structures, clinical workflows, and payer data layouts • Help non-technical teams accurately interpret underlying data • Document data models, logic definitions, and data flow pipelines • Collaborate with BI teams to ensure transparency and consistency across enterprise analytics • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field preferred, or equivalent practical experience • 3+ years of professional experience in Healthcare Analytics, Analytics Engineering, or Business Intelligence within a provider group, health system, payer, or healthcare technology environment • Strong domain experience with payer claims data, including medical, pharmacy, eligibility, and attribution data • Strong domain experience with EMR/clinical data, such as Athenahealth, Epic, or Cerner • Expert-level advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, multi-table JOINs, CTEs, window functions, query optimization, and data transformation routines • Exposure to analytics engineering workflows and tools such as dbt, Python/Pandas, Git/version control, Snowflake, MS SQL Server, BigQuery, and Excel • Familiarity with healthcare operational metrics and Value-Based Care concepts, including risk scores/HCC, quality metrics, and shared savings calculations • Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment while balancing long-term engineering projects with rapid ad-hoc query requests • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical data modeling concepts to operational and clinical stakeholders • Remote workers must have minimum internet speeds of 5 MBPS download and 3 MBPS upload
