📋 Description

• Own monthly and quarterly expense-side variance analysis for assigned operating departments • Partner with Accounting during monthly close to review accruals, verify general ledger coding, and ensure forecast integrity • Lead monthly budget reviews with department leaders and update rolling forecasts • Build, maintain, and forecast dynamic headcount rosters and fully burdened personnel costs • Partner with HR and hiring managers to track open requisitions against the approved annual operating budget • Reconcile HRIS data and the general ledger weekly to maintain headcount cost accuracy • Track and analyze SaaS metrics including ARR, Net Retention Rate, CAC, Payback Period, and Gross Margin • Translate financial performance and unit economics into executive commentary for monthly C-Suite and Board reporting decks • Partner with Go-to-Market leaders to model the financial impact of hiring, quota capacity, and operational spend • Support maintenance and modeling logic in Workday Adaptive Planning • Refine complex Excel financial models, eliminate manual inputs, and improve forecast accuracy • Execute ad-hoc financial and scenario analysis for leadership on strategic initiatives • Work closely with the Director of FP&A and CFO as the primary finance partner for key operating departments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • MBA a plus • 1–3 years of progressive experience in FP&A or Accounting • SaaS experience strongly preferred • Strong understanding of the expense side of the P&L and other financial statements • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills • Comfortable building and improving multi-tab, driver-based models • Experience with Adaptive Insights or similar FP&A tools is a plus • Proactive problem-solving ability • Exceptional organization and attention to detail • Strong communication skills and comfort engaging VP- and C-level stakeholders • Flexibility and ability to adjust quickly as priorities shift • Ability to work from home in a distraction-free environment and attend virtual video meetings • Must be able to work in the United States; HireVue is not currently hiring in AK, IA, ME, MS, NM, or WV
