📋 Description

• Perform mechanical and electrical work on Load Tap Changers (LTCs) and transformer equipment under the direction of experienced technicians • Assist with preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, upgrades, and field service activities • Support electrical testing and diagnostic activities to identify equipment issues and improve reliability • Assist with the operation of oil processing and oil handling equipment • Read and interpret procedures, drawings, blueprints, and technical documents • Complete daily activity reports, service documentation, and customer reports accurately and on time • Utilize digital tools and software to document field activities and equipment condition • Collaborate with field crews, management, engineering teams, and customers to execute projects • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States • High School Diploma or GED required • Technical school, trade school, military training, or coursework in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or related fields preferred • Previous experience in construction, maintenance, manufacturing, utilities, or field service is beneficial but not required • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company software systems • Valid Driver’s License required • Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States
