📋 Description

• Provide technical support throughout all phases of GIS project execution, including installation, commissioning, testing, acceptance, and handover • Provide on-site supervision for the installation and commissioning of GIS substations • Manage troubleshooting efforts involving field personnel and subcontractors • Support and oversee contracted maintenance activities • Maintain detailed site documentation, including operational procedures, performance reports, test data, and equipment manuals • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers to support smooth site execution • Work closely with customers on-site to support service outcomes and satisfaction • Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, vehicles, materials, and supplies at job sites • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States • 2-5 years of proven experience in technical field service work • Technical diploma/degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) preferred • Trade education and experience in Industrial Mechanic and Electrical fields will be considered • Strong mechanical and electrical skills • Experience leading crews on electrical projects • Ability to read and interpret contracts, specifications, and technical drawings • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and test equipment software • Able to travel up to 80%, including to Canada and Mexico • Valid US driver’s license • Fluent in English
