📋 Description

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical aspects of rotary and surface drill mining equipment and components • Commission new equipment and provide training at customer sites with minimal supervision • Inspect equipment for proper performance and determine faults and malfunctions • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operational performance • Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives • Maintain knowledge of industry, customer, product developments, and technical best practices • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers • Comply with Sandvik, customer, state, and federal regulatory safety policies • Ensure customer satisfaction within the assigned area • Travel by truck or air at least 50% of the time across the Colorado market

🎯 Requirements

• Strong mechanical or electrical background and diagnostic skills • Technical certification or diploma in mechanical or electrical fields, or equivalent years of professional field/technical experience • Minimum 5 years of industry-related experience • Mining equipment experience • Diesel and electrical technical experience • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems • Ability to read blueprints and interpret equipment schematics • Must conform to ISO standards • Safety-focused, capable of working alone, and able to stop work if required • Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills • Legal right to work in the United States on an indefinite basis without employer sponsorship • Comfortable working underground and on the surface
