📋 Description

• Plan and direct accounting operations at assigned facilities • Lead facility closing processes and ensure timely, policy-compliant financial reporting • Produce periodic financial reports under GAAP and IFRS • Perform analyses and prepare journal entries for prepaids, accruals, payroll, inventory, and other areas • Perform monthly account reconciliations • Produce budgets and forecasts and follow up on deviations • Lead quarterly forecast development for assigned locations • Analyze actual results versus forecasts and prepare variance analyses • Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend actions • Partner with operations to analyze production metrics • Prepare and present ad hoc cost analyses and reports • Reconcile ERP inventory balances with physical counts • Analyze and report slow-moving and obsolete inventory reserves • Provide cost data for make-versus-buy decisions, pricing updates, and profitability analysis • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required • Five years or more of related experience required • Advanced Excel skills and ability to learn new technologies • Experience with (Infor) Visual ERP is a plus • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work at a computer • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times • Able to travel as needed
