📋 Description

• Sell the Company's exterior and interior products and services to customers • Conduct outside sales visits primarily in customers' homes and participate in trade shows and industry events • Conduct professional sales presentations and adapt solutions to changing customer needs • Assess customer needs, make tailored product recommendations, develop and negotiate customized price quotes • Present warranty and financing options • Complete sales contracts and related paperwork • Take measurements using industry-standard methods to ensure installation specifications are met • Prospect for and acquire new customers inside and outside assigned The Home Depot stores • Travel to assigned stores, maintain local relationships, educate store associates on HDIS offerings, and increase awareness of HDIS programs • Seek referrals and develop relationships with store management and associates • Attend sales and store team meetings to improve sales techniques and learn HDIS product offerings • Report to the Sales Manager; no direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • High school diploma and/or GED • 1+ years of previous related work experience • Prior in-home or virtual sales experience preferred • Prior home improvement industry experience preferred • Prior experience with successful lead generation preferred • Computer and application skills, including email, iPad, and apps • No previous leadership experience required • Certifications: None • Must continuously stand or walk, or regularly lift/handle/carry moderate-weight material or equipment (8–20 pounds) • Regular exposure to dust, fumes, or odors
