📋 Description

• Develop strong knowledge of Horace Mann Property and Casualty insurance products, services and policies. • Handle and problem solve customers' inquiries via phone, email, and chats. • Responsible for ensuring a great customer experience in both written and verbal communications. • Maintain quality and compliance within every interaction by adhering to all applicable company and state rules and regulations. • Responsible for proactive up-sell and cross-sell of insurance solutions to existing customer base.

🎯 Requirements

• H.S. diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred). • 2+ years of customer service/business/sales experience preferred. • Insurance or Finance industry experience helpful. • Successfully complete the Service Representative Trainee Program • Obtain and maintain Insurance Producers License and Non-Residence License within 12 months of hire and maintain after that. • Basic math skills and billing interpretation skills. • Effective communication, both written and verbally – ability to identify unmet customer needs and provide solutions. • Demonstrate active listening, system navigation, research, problem-solving, critical thinking, organization and time management skills. • Internet speed of at least 10 mb/s download 1mb/s upload – Verification required. • Employee must have a private, organized location removed from daily household distractions.
