📋 Description

• Lead Client Platform, responsible for software deployed in customer environments that enables NodeZero autonomous pentests • Build, mentor, and grow Client Platform to approximately 10 engineers across Image Build & Release and OTA Services • Directly manage the Engineering Managers of both sub-teams and set technical and cultural direction • Lead CI/CD workflows to create, sign, and publish the NodeZero runner container image • Own software supply chain security, including reproducible builds, image signing, SBOM generation, and vulnerability scanning in CI • Architect and operate the over-the-air update delivery system for NodeZero runners across thousands of customer environments • Collaborate with Security Research to ensure the runner executes new autonomous pentest capabilities • Partner with product managers, security researchers, and customer success to manage the client-side roadmap • Establish engineering norms, rigorous code review standards, robust testing, and a culture of ownership • Travel up to 5% may be required

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise leading teams that design, build, and operate containerized software deployed into on-premise or customer-managed environments • Experience implementing software supply chain practices, including secure builds, image signing, reproducible builds, and vulnerability scanning in CI • Experience designing and operating OTA update mechanisms for distributed agents or edge software at scale, including staged rollouts, rollback, and delivery verification • Ability to reason about correctness in opaque, customer-controlled environments • Experience building or significantly growing an engineering team, including hiring and onboarding • Experience defining and instilling engineering culture, rigorous code review standards, robust testing, and ownership • Proven ability to drive high-impact architecture decisions using design documents, structured reviews, consensus building, and customer-environment analysis • Proficient in Go, Python, or C++ • Strong Linux OS-level operations, including container runtimes, corporate networking, systemd, and process isolation • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for building and signing container images, including cosign, Notary v2, or equivalent • Familiarity with OTA update protocols and frameworks such as TUF, Omaha, or custom mechanisms • Understanding of TLS, certificate pinning, and secure software delivery in hostile network environments • Exposure to cybersecurity, pentesting tools, or vulnerability remediation • Experience with cross-platform agents, including Windows/Linux, and endpoint telemetry • Background in software running in air-gapped or restricted network environments • Familiarity with the SLSA supply chain security framework • Minimum 25Mbps consumer-grade broadband connection • Legally authorized to work in the United States
