📋 Description

• Identify, pursue, and close new business within the life sciences sector • Develop and execute prospecting strategies using referral networks, carrier relationships, industry associations, and market research • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and renewal strategies for complex coverage needs • Maintain and grow an assigned book of life sciences business • Coordinate with account executives, underwriters, and claims teams to service client accounts • Conduct periodic account reviews to identify coverage gaps, cross-sell opportunities, and retention risks • Build and maintain relationships with carrier partners, underwriters, and specialty market contacts • Represent Howden at industry events, trade associations, and client functions • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity in life sciences insurance

🎯 Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty producer license in Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain within a defined period • Demonstrated track record of new business production within the life sciences or related specialty insurance segment • Established network of referral sources and/or carrier relationships within the life sciences industry • Strong working knowledge of product liability, clinical trials liability, and professional/technology liability coverage lines • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to prospective and existing clients • Professional designations such as CIC, CPCU, CRM, or equivalent preferred but not required
