📋 Description

• Review and write summaries on applications to Penn State Dickinson Law’s Juris Doctor program • Use holistic evaluation methods to make a comprehensive assessment of each candidate • Understand institutional objectives and make recommendations in support of such • Provide feedback on relevant aspects of applications • Keep accurate notes and file management in the application management database • Select an admit, waitlist, or deny recommendation for each applicant • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Experience reviewing admission applications and making recommendations or rendering decisions • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school is not required but would be helpful • Thorough knowledge of admissions best practices • Excellent judgment, discretion, organization, time-management and communication skills • Advanced knowledge of proper grammar and attention to detail • Excellent critical thinking and reading comprehension skills • A quiet and secure work environment which protects the confidentiality of applicants’ information is required • Successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies
