📋 Description

• Build risk-based testing strategies tailored to the squad's architecture • Drive quality discussions in scrum ceremonies • Challenge defect priorities and improve quality practices • Design and execute tests across front-end UI, APIs, backend services, and data pipelines • Validate data transformations, service outputs, and complex logic at scale • Build reliable, maintainable automated checks using Playwright and scripting • Own quality end-to-end as the testing expert within a cross-functional squad • Coach teammates and raise quality standards across the team • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design • Contribute to hiring and professional development • Develop analytics and Recruit products for American Football to support coaches and analysts with player performance and talent acquisition decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of software testing experience • Hands-on expertise across the full stack, including API testing, backend and data-heavy systems, and front-end validation • Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Playwright • Proficiency in Python or TypeScript • Experience owning quality for a squad and leading testing initiatives end-to-end • Experience defining success criteria and designing approaches that measurably reduce production risk • Ability to investigate complex problems to identify root causes, support findings with data, and measure outcomes • Ability to apply user experience understanding to testing approaches • Active use of AI tools for test case creation, failure diagnosis, documentation, and other workflow tasks • Familiarity with load, stress, and scalability testing concepts and tools such as JMeter • Passion for or experience in Basketball, American Football, or Ice Hockey • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
