📋 Description

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Senior Product Managers • Establish expectations, priorities, accountability, roles, decision rights and ways of working • Build leadership and product management capability through coaching, feedback, development planning and stretch opportunities • Develop succession plans, career development and a talent pipeline • Own product direction and priorities across assigned regional Medicare Advantage portfolios • Establish portfolio standards and guardrails while enabling appropriate market differentiation • Integrate competitive, financial, regulatory, operational and market insights into product decisions • Evaluate product opportunities, risks and tradeoffs and provide recommendations to senior leadership • Monitor portfolio performance and emerging market needs • Serve as a senior Product Management partner to regional, segment and functional leaders • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Actuarial, Finance, Network, Compliance, Operations, Marketing and Market Leadership • Represent Product Management in executive and regional leadership forums • Lead product strategy and readiness through the annual CMS bid cycle • Establish governance and decision-making disciplines for accurate, timely and compliant product submissions • Translate strategy into executable benefit and product designs • Establish standards for quality, accuracy and consistency across CMS filings and product materials • Build metrics, controls and operating mechanisms for portfolio health, readiness, quality and risk • Use data and root-cause analysis to drive sustainable improvements • Serve as a senior escalation point for significant product, regulatory, compliance, market and operational issues • Report to the Director, Insurance Product Management • Lead the team through ambiguity, transformation and regulatory activity while maintaining near-term execution and long-term improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional credential/licensure or experience (7+ years of relevant healthcare, health plan, product management or related experience) • 3+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management and talent development • Experience leading execution for a complex product, business or operational portfolio • Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex business, regulatory and/or operational decisions • Ability to influence, communicate with and present recommendations to senior leaders • Experience leading through ambiguity, change and competing priorities • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload for home or hybrid home/office employees • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Ability to work extended hours and occasional weekends during critical regulatory and business deadlines
