📋 Description

• Support coordination, documentation, and communication of medical services and benefit administration determinations • Interpret behavioral health criteria, policies, and procedures • Independently determine appropriate courses of action in varied and sometimes ambiguous situations • Coordinate and communicate with providers, members, and other parties to facilitate optimal care and treatment • Apply clinical knowledge, communication skills, and critical thinking to provide appropriate treatment, care, or services • Follow established guidelines and procedures • Work typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time • Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings as business needs require

🎯 Requirements

• Applicable active state professional licensure in field of study without disciplinary action or restrictions, such as LCSW, LMSW-ACP, LPC, Psychologist (PhD), or another professional license • Minimum 3 years of post-degree clinical experience in private practice or other patient care • Minimum 1 year of managed care/health plan experience • Experience with pre-authorization/utilization review processes preferred • Experience with behavioral change, health promotion, coaching, and wellness preferred • Experience working with pediatric through older adult populations preferred • Knowledge of community health and social service agencies and additional community resources preferred • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred, including speaking, reading, writing, interpreting, and explaining documents in Spanish • Must have an active professional license without disciplinary action or restrictions • Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
