📋 Description

• Provide a full range of legal advice and services • Manage internal and government investigations on behalf of the company • Proactively identify opportunities to mitigate risk • Manage complex litigation matters • Collaborate with internal clients and outside counsel on litigation and case strategy • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on investigation and litigation issues • Take full ownership of legal matters with modest to minimal supervision • Perform sophisticated legal analysis • Clearly communicate with business partners and other stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school • Active and licensed membership in a state bar association • At least 5 years of experience managing investigations or complex litigation • Ability to organize and successfully manage a number of matters simultaneously • Strong skills in communicating complex legal issues to various stakeholders • Ability to work independently under general supervision and in team settings • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds • Preferred: Investigations or litigation experience in the managed care space • Preferred: Understanding of e-discovery and experience with large-scale discovery • Preferred: Understanding of Medicare laws and regulations and federal health care fraud laws and statutes, including the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute
