📋 Description

• Lead enterprise quality validation strategy for end-to-end business workflows, cross-platform integrations, and multi-segment technology initiatives • Establish standards and operating models for integration assurance, release certification, automation, resiliency testing, and production quality validation • Provide technical leadership for dependency mapping, risk-based test planning, automation strategy, test data needs, and environment readiness • Partner with engineering, architecture, product, DevOps, release management, operations, cybersecurity, and platform teams to manage quality risks, resolve defects, and improve release readiness • Advance automation-first and AI-enabled quality engineering practices • Own enterprise release certification, including readiness criteria, quality gates, executive reporting, risk escalation, and go/no-go recommendations • Drive reliability, resiliency, synthetic monitoring, smoke testing, post-release validation, and production quality practices • Define quality metrics, dashboards, and governance routines • Build and develop a high-performing quality engineering team • Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in quality engineering, software engineering, test engineering, systems integration, technology delivery, or related technical disciplines • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams or enterprise-scale quality engineering capabilities • Proven experience leading end-to-end testing, integration testing, release validation, or enterprise quality certification in complex environments • Hands-on knowledge of test strategy, automation, integration validation, production validation, defect analysis, risk assessment, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and production readiness • Experience validating complex workflows across applications, platforms, APIs, data flows, and distributed systems • Experience with reliability, resiliency, synthetic monitoring, observability, or operational readiness practices • Experience leveraging data, analytics, automation, or AI-enabled practices to improve quality insights, test effectiveness, risk detection, and release readiness • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills in a matrixed environment • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload; wireless, wired cable, or DSL suggested • Satellite, cellular, or microwave connection requires leadership approval • Preferred: experience in healthcare, insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry • Preferred: experience with enterprise transformation, platform modernization, cloud migration, or digital product delivery initiatives • Preferred: familiarity with microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, cloud-native platforms, data pipelines, and distributed systems • Preferred: experience with test automation, service virtualization, test data management, environment management, observability, synthetic monitoring, production validation, or operational readiness • Preferred: experience using AI-enabled tools, intelligent automation, quality metrics, dashboards, scorecards, or executive readiness reporting • Preferred: familiarity with enterprise release governance, change management, compliance, secure software delivery, and operational risk controls
