📋 Description

• Oversee various highly complex system projects and/or programs • Assemble and lead project teams • Identify appropriate resources needed for projects • Develop project schedules to ensure timely completion • Manage stakeholder partnerships • Mitigate project risks • Coordinate team activities based on system scope, project objectives and team-member roles • Oversee interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects when managing programs • Set strategies and lead program execution to deliver longer-term business value • Apply SDLC and ITIL frameworks to manage technology-project risks and issues • Understand and align department, segment and organizational strategy and operating objectives • Make decisions regarding work methods, including in ambiguous situations • Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or a related field • Less than 5 years of technical experience • Demonstrated experience in technical product selection, technical design and practical implementation of IT solutions • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences • Preferred: Master's Degree in Business Administration • Preferred: Longevity working in data warehouse, decision support and reporting system environments • Preferred: Working knowledge of Oracle and IBM Relational Database Management Systems, executive information systems and statistical software packages • Preferred: Comprehensive knowledge of development languages, tools, and utilities, including Cobol, CICS, DB2, ASP, COM, .Net and SQL • Preferred: Six Sigma and/or Project Management Institute certification • Preferred: Experience in the health solutions industry • Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps for self-provided home internet • Wireless, wired cable or DSL connection suggested • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
