📋 Description

• Advocate for the business within IT • Ensure technology execution aligns with business strategy • Help execute Humana's Technology Strategy in alignment with corporate vision and segment business strategies • Engage in enterprise technology modernization initiatives with application teams and business and IT stakeholders • Create artifacts and conditions for demand management, delivery prioritization, capacity planning, and technology strategy roadmaps • Study and communicate healthcare payer industry best practices, innovations, technologies, and trends • Facilitate and drive adoption of the lean enterprise architecture practice within an agile delivery framework • Align and map business vision and strategy to value streams, business capabilities, and business functions • Document current-state architecture, value streams, and domain capability models • Apply portfolio rationalization to identify innovation opportunities and reduce risk, complexity, and operating costs • Define and maintain technology strategies, intermediate architectures, and end-state architectures • Maintain and deliver enterprise architecture principles, standards, policies, methodologies, documentation, and artifacts • Guide stakeholders through the architecture governance process • Enable innovation and evolution of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms • Evaluate new technologies and platforms and develop architecture standards • Provide thought leadership for technology decisions • Define technical standards and ensure solution alignment with enterprise reference architecture • Prototype tools and technologies to evaluate design decisions, improve predictability, and reduce risk • Select and use cloud services, technologies, tools, methodologies, and solutions aligned with organizational strategy • Mentor and guide enterprise, solution, technology, and system architects • Report to a Director, Enterprise Architecture

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience • Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems • 10 or more years design, development, and testing of software applications • Expert knowledge of architecture patterns for enterprise integration, system decomposition, refactoring and cloud migration • Experience with cloud-native architectures on at least one cloud platform provider in an enterprise environment • Experience with highly available, fault-tolerant and event-driven architectures at scale • Experience with Enterprise Architecture, technical strategy, and technology roadmaps • Experience with lean-agile delivery methodologies in an enterprise environment • Knowledge of healthcare business domains including Medicare, Medicaid, Group, and Specialty • Ability to work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload internet speed required • Preferred: Master's Degree • Preferred: Associate or Professional level solution architecture certification in Azure, GCP or AWS • Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in Cloud, AI technologies or Enterprise Architecture • Preferred: 2+ years of project leadership and consulting experience
