📋 Description

• Arrange educational sessions with assigned providers to improve quality of care and documentation • Identify provider educational needs using reports • Prepare reports and presentations on coding quality trends, risk areas, and educational outcomes using data visualization • Deliver onsite education to providers • Collaborate with other market provider-facing roles • Use data analytics tools to assess coding quality, identify error patterns, and monitor compliance with internal and external standards • Analyze coding audit results and relevant data to develop data-driven educational materials and interventions • Work with teams to improve documentation, data integrity, and workflow processes • Report to the Manager, Medicare Risk Adjustment • Travel up to 5% to surrounding provider offices and occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings

🎯 Requirements

• AHIMA or AAPC CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification required • 3 or more years of medical coding education or auditing experience in a healthcare setting • Proficiency with data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar • Experience interpreting large data sets • Experience with healthcare risk adjustment, including HCC coding and CMS-HCC model version 28 • Experience speaking with leadership • Webinar, public speaking, or presentation skills with healthcare providers • Must live in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, or Tennessee • Bachelor's degree preferred • Knowledge of value-based care preferred • Primary care knowledge preferred • Medicare Risk Adjustment knowledge preferred • CRC (Certified Risk Adjustment Coder) preferred • Experience working with healthcare providers preferred • Microsoft Office applications experience preferred • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for travel • Minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload internet speed required • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
