📋 Description

• Provide counsel on PBM and pharmacy operations and contract structuring • Advise on regulatory compliance for PBM and pharmacy services • Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts • Manage legal and business risk • Support strategic initiatives, including pharmaceutical manufacturer contract negotiations and ERISA self-funded employee welfare benefit plans • Provide guidance on federal and state regulatory compliance • Advise on risk exposure, mitigation strategies, and legal implications of commercial initiatives • Monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory changes • Support audits, investigations, and responses to regulatory inquiries • Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school • 10 years of experience • Active membership in a state bar association • Strong legal writing and analytical skills • Ability to work independently under general supervision and in team settings • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences • PBM and ERISA expertise preferred • Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps for home or hybrid home/office employees • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
