📋 Description

• Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies • Manage the company's supply portfolio and ensure spending transparency • Comply with federal and state regulatory guidelines • Reconcile purchases with vendor invoices • Validate pricing and contract compliance • Monitor sales and margins through vendor negotiations and promotional opportunities • Manage purchasing activities with pharmaceutical companies for drug purchasing • Influence department strategy • Make decisions on technical approaches for project components • Report to an Associate Director • Work as an individual contributor • No domestic travel; occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, vendor management and/or contracting • Previous sourcing experience with RFI/RFQ/RFP • Experience partnering and presenting to leadership • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills • Business analysis capabilities to develop and execute sourcing programs and services • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight • Ability to contribute effectively as a team member and team lead • Ability to tailor communication for diverse audiences, including senior leadership • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or another related field (desired) • Project Management skills (desired) • Spend analytics and reporting skills (desired) • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
