📋 Description

• Drive inventory reduction to target levels through analysis and collaboration with the planning team • Ensure material availability for high On Time performance • Drive on time delivery through analysis and collaboration with production operations at the Fabrication site • Facilitate the weekly Material Review Board process • Manage recovery and communication related to customer backorders • Participate in cycle count and WIP floor inventory accuracy metrics • Develop standard work training documents and provide training on systems and supply chain functions • Apply scheduling concepts including ABC, Kanban, Trigger Points, Min Max, Heijunka, and EOQ • Work with material/network planners to synchronize supply with department schedules • Analyze production performance to identify opportunities requiring support team focus • Apply project management techniques to meet goals and objectives • Develop daily schedules based on expected delivery dates and identify available-to-build quantities based on material shortages • Make critical decisions, build consensus, and resolve conflicts across functions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management. • Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience in planning and supply chain functions • Demonstrated experience tools such as SAP or other ERP systems • Expert in MRP, ERP, and MSOffice • Exceptional computer skills; ERP, Business Intelligence systems or equivalent and Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Good understanding of S&OP process • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate across multiple departments and through multiple levels of the organization • Solid analytical skills in forecasting and anticipating production needs and capabilities • Demonstrated influencing, negotiating and conflict management skills • Excellent collaborative management skills • Strong working knowledge of effective supply chain performance including supply planning, customer service, supplier and asset management • Strong passion for creating process and systems improvement • CPIM or CSCP certifications from APICS
