📋 Description

• Review medical records for completeness and assign documentation deficiencies • Monitor and manage record completion and document imaging workflows • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the electronic health record (EHR) • Partner with providers and clinical staff to resolve missing or incomplete documentation • Perform quality reviews to ensure documentation compliance and accuracy • Support release-of-information activities in accordance with regulatory requirements • Participate in process improvement and quality assurance initiatives • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable privacy and security regulations • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, providers, and client stakeholders • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • 2+ years of HIM, medical records, or related healthcare experience • Knowledge of medical terminology and health record documentation requirements • Experience working within an EHR environment preferred • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and protected health information requirements • Current permanent U.S. work authorization required • Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred • RHIT or RHIA certification preferred • Experience with chart analysis, record completion, and documentation management workflows preferred
