📋 Description

• Perform conflicts-of-interest searches and due diligence checks for incoming attorneys, staff, clients, and matters • Analyze, review, and approve conflicts reports and identify concerns • Manage client and matter intake data for accuracy and policy compliance • Adjust search terms to correct misinformation and produce accurate results • Collaborate with the Risk and Information Governance team on process documentation and accessibility • Suggest process improvements and monitor industry trends related to conflicts of interest • Manage conflict-resolution efforts and communicate resolutions with firm attorneys • Draft and review waiver and engagement letters as directed • Develop screens to prevent unauthorized access to conflicting client and matter data • Liaise with firm attorneys to identify, document, and resolve business conflicts • Use computers, telephones, and printing, copying, faxing, and scanning equipment • Travel as needed and perform duties outside normal responsibilities when assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) required • Active license to practice law in the United States required • Two years of experience as a Conflicts Attorney or equivalent experience practicing law • Strong understanding of risk management and legal relationships • Ability to identify conflicts of interest and make resolution decisions independently • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong research, problem-solving, and complex data analysis skills • Ability to manage complex legal information and document processes • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism • Available to work remotely, after hours, as needed, and quickly produce results • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; able to adapt to new software • Must be able to perform all essential duties • Permanent authorization to work in the United States
