📋 Description

• Assist with archaeological survey and excavation field work throughout the Southeastern United States • Assist senior archaeologists and historians • Work hours as they become available based on seasonal or project-specific environmental work • Follow consistent procedures and protocols during field work

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related discipline • Valid driver’s license • Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check • Ability to conduct field work in remote locations and work comfortably in the field environment • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various environments, including high temperatures • Work experience including archaeological survey and excavation, preferably in the Southeastern United States • Experience with GPS technologies • Computer skills including the MS Office Suite • Excellent communication skills • Excellent field skills, artifact analyses, and keeping field notes and records
