📋 Description

• Design and develop reliable, high-performance data architectures • Manage the entire data lifecycle, from connecting diverse sources through transformation and modeling to delivery • Provide data for applications, dashboards, and analyses • Collaborate with developers and product teams to integrate data-driven features • Contribute to technical concepts and effort estimates • Automate data imports, deployments, quality checks, and alerts • Support colleagues through code reviews and pair programming • Monitor the state of the art in AI and pursue continuous professional development • Provide AI expertise and consulting support to internal teams and clients • Help shape and improve services offered by public-service broadcasters

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years of practical experience in data engineering • Experience designing and taking responsibility for data platforms • Ability to communicate complex data and architectural topics clearly • Fluent in Python and SQL • Experience with pandas, PostgreSQL, and Docker • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Scheduler, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL • Knowledge of performance and cost optimization • Experience with orchestrated pipelines, automated transformation testing, data quality checks, linting, and formatting • Ability to evaluate technological trends soundly and distinguish hype from genuine value • Experience with AI-assisted workflows and coding agents • Experience with FastAPI is desirable • Knowledge of Apache Airflow is an advantage • Experience integrating AI models into data processes, for example via Vertex AI, is an advantage • Experience at a digital agency and/or media company is an advantage • Please submit your CV, earliest possible start date, and salary expectations with your application
