• Conceive, build, and launch iMentor’s virtual mentoring 26/27 Pilot Year • Own the virtual mentoring pilot internally and coordinate the external partnership, corporate partner activation, mentor experience, program learning, and future growth strategy • Lead activation of virtual mentoring partnerships after handoff from External Relations • Translate corporate partner commitments into successful implementation • Drive employee participation and deliver mentor onboarding, training, engagement, and support • Track participation, engagement, and experience to support partner stewardship, renewal, and growth • Report progress to corporate partners and foster deeper long-term involvement • Collaborate with Strategic Communications to create materials that inspire corporate partnerships and increase mentor recruitment • Assist with Mentor Training and provide ongoing support throughout mentor-student pair engagement • Serve as primary contact for technology partner UStrive • Build understanding of UStrive’s virtual mentoring model • Report regularly to involved parties on program improvements and successes • Monitor quantitative and qualitative program assessment data • Identify effective practices, diagnose challenges, recommend pilot changes, and develop a scale roadmap • Partner with the Organizational Learning & Impact team to define and monitor pilot success measures • Assess conditions required for high-quality virtual mentoring and recommend future design, scale, and impact • Balance growth and implementation goals with program quality and participant outcomes • Report to the Senior Vice President of Impact Programming
• Success building or launching a new program, initiative, product, or service, ideally from concept through implementation • Proficiency managing corporate partnerships, employee engagement, volunteer recruitment, business development, or another external-facing function • Traditional fundraising experience preferred but not required • Experience with volunteer recruitment, customer/user acquisition, partnership development, or another form of audience growth requiring persuasion to participate • Strong project/program management skills • Ability to coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders and move complex work from strategy to execution • Ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to assess performance, identify problems, test improvements, and make recommendations • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building systems and processes where they do not yet exist • Strong communication and facilitation skills • Experience with a tech-enabled program and/or working with a technology partner, understanding user experience, and interpreting data • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • Must meet district public-school compliance requirements, including background checks • Must be fully vaccinated prior to start date to comply with the NYC Vaccine mandate
