📋 Description

• Support Patient Access information technology applications through planning, design, implementation, maintenance, optimization, and support • Provide technical support, configuration, and maintenance for healthcare applications throughout their lifecycle • Analyze and diagnose stakeholder problems and determine resolutions • Gather, validate, and translate technology requirements into design and development specifications • Configure, test, install, implement, monitor, and maintain systems, applications, workflows, processes, and hardware • Document and recommend workflow changes and technical or functional designs • Partner with external vendors on third-party application integration, implementation, support, and troubleshooting • Resolve incidents and problems according to service levels and department standards • Serve as project manager and perform project management functions for small- to mid-size projects • Collaborate with peers, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors • Follow documentation and change-management standards • Develop training and knowledge-base materials • Configure and integrate electronic and mechanical hardware with software products • Develop and understand business reporting needs for end users • Participate in on-call and command-center responsibilities • Help develop and maintain testing plans and scripts • Attend team, project, and department meetings • Complete minimum viable products for demands in ServiceHub • Request project and enhancement resources through the ServiceHub Resource Plan process

🎯 Requirements

• Patient Access experience preferred • Epic Prelude, Cadence, and Referrals certification preferred • Knowledge of Authorizations and RTE preferred • Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field preferred • Additional relevant experience may substitute for lack of education upon Supervisory and HR approval • Two years of work experience, or actively working toward a bachelor's degree with four years' experience in a related area • Will be required to certify on one or more Epic applications and maintain certification • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel pivot tables, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Word • In-depth business and application knowledge and experience • Knowledge of system analysis and operating systems • Ability to assess needs and determine the best approach through documentation • Problem definition and data collection skills • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret industry periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations • Ability to write correspondence and process documents • Ability to operate computers and IT equipment • Ability to read computer monitors and documents • Ability to sit or stand for long periods • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM, with some on-call shifts • Candidates must not reside or plan to reside in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Washington
