It operates 24/7 emergency call-taking and rapid-response interventions for home incidents (fires, water damage, electrical faults, locksmithing), offers remote damage expertise and cost estimation, and manages repair-in-kind through a national network of vetted contractors. IMH also runs digital platforms to support project estimation and paid home-service offerings, coordinates large-scale catastrophe responses, and connects insurers, beneficiaries and service providers via its accredited prestataire network.

📋 Description

• Serve as the first connection between Intermountain and patients • Foster relationships with patients, parents, and guardians regarding patient care • Answer phones promptly and communicate patient needs to clinical caregivers • Provide customer service through omni-channel communications • Identify and resolve scheduling/registration, billing/payor, business, and medical requests • Document essential information in the electronic medical record (EMR) • Coordinate with clinical care teams and other teams to provide seamless patient solutions • Use analytical skills and technical resources to anticipate and resolve patient requests • Support enterprise productivity and quality initiatives and key performance indicators • Complete five weeks of remote training, with Day 1 orientation and equipment pickup in Las Vegas

🎯 Requirements

• One year of customer service experience • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical skills • Self-motivated and able to work well in a call center environment • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills • Flexibility to work any days/hours during the Contact Center's operating hours • Must be within one hour of the Las Vegas Central Office • Must furnish DSL, fiber optic, or cable home Internet connection • Wireless or satellite Internet connections are not permitted • Hardwired Ethernet connection required • Ability to see/read information and monitors and assess customer needs • Ability to verbally communicate and hear/understand spoken information • Manual dexterity for frequent computer use • Preferred: one year of customer service experience in a hospital or medical office • Preferred: medical terminology knowledge • Preferred: experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
