It operates 24/7 emergency call-taking and rapid-response interventions for home incidents (fires, water damage, electrical faults, locksmithing), offers remote damage expertise and cost estimation, and manages repair-in-kind through a national network of vetted contractors. IMH also runs digital platforms to support project estimation and paid home-service offerings, coordinates large-scale catastrophe responses, and connects insurers, beneficiaries and service providers via its accredited prestataire network.

📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of assigned payer contracts and payer relationships • Support contract language negotiation and management • Research and negotiate rates and payment methodologies • Resolve contract disputes and escalated contract issues • Maintain expertise in contract and amendment language, rates, methodologies, and contracted providers/facilities • Ensure contract practices, documentation, payment rates, methodologies, storage, and issues follow standards • Represent Payer Contracting and Intermountain Health in key relationships • Lead Joint Operating Committees • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with aligned payers • Coordinate with Finance and Revenue Cycle leadership on risk-based contracting and proactive care strategies • Coordinate with Legal and Compliance on contract accuracy, regulatory compliance, and language consistency • Provide leadership and mentorship to Payer Contracting Managers

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading and supporting complex negotiations • Experience in a professional role requiring effective verbal and written communication of advanced topics • Ability to synthesize extensive data into clear, concise summaries without sacrificing material details • Experience leading teams, including cross-functional teams • Demonstrated experience mentoring teams and caregivers • Preferred: proven experience in payer contracting, including full-cycle negotiation and contract redlining • Ability to travel frequently to negotiate contracts with payers • Frequent computer use and manual dexterity for typing and accessing information • May be expected to drive a vehicle
