📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance new and existing products and product lines • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and feedback to develop product concepts in 3D CAD • Evaluate and recommend specifications and ensure products meet technical and functional requirements • Recommend and follow reliable, efficient, and cost-effective procedures • Create technical drawings and manufacturable designs, including installation drawings and supporting field-installation documentation • Perform feasibility, functional, and quality testing of designs • Collaborate with Project Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other engineers • Align designs with production capabilities and compliance standards • Ensure project milestones and timelines are met

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience required • 5+ years of related product design experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and PDM Software, preferably AutoDesk Inventor and AutoDesk Vault • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques, specifically in steel and sheet metal manufacturing environments • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to accommodate periodic weekend or evening work when expected • Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities • Ability to protect confidential and sensitive employee information
