📋 Description

• Perform age-appropriate history and virtual examinations; evaluate, diagnose, recommend treatment plans, and document findings appropriately and promptly • Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining safety • Document patient medical information and review patient history at each visit • Request consultations or referrals with other healthcare providers when appropriate • Counsel and educate patients • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed • Evaluate, triage, and manage pediatric and adult patients for acute care, chronic disease management, and mental health conditions • Maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends • Provide administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory test results • Report to the Medical Director of Urgent Care

🎯 Requirements

• Board-certified physician • Completion of a 3-year Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency • 3+ years of post-residency experience in a fast-paced Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient setting • Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual-boarded Internal Medicine plus Pediatrics • Completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination • Eligible for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC) • Active and unrestricted state medical license in at least one state • Must reside in an IMLC state • Experience and comfort providing care for all ages, from newborn to adult populations • Ability to function within an integrated medical practice • Extensive breadth of clinical expertise • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Demonstrable proficiency with technology • Must not be under current exclusion or sanction by a state or federal healthcare program • Must maintain active Medicare status • 1,560 annual hours; 60 hours per pay period • Weeknight 8-hour shifts between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. in the clinician’s timezone • Every other weekend: two 8-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. in the clinician’s timezone • Three holiday shifts per calendar year
