📋 Description

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in assigned areas. • Optimize full-cycle commissions process, including the operational data flow, calculating commission payments, and accounting for commissions on a monthly basis. • Prepare journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and supporting schedules. • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate and resolve variances and reconciling items. • Ensure all workpapers and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, and audit-ready. • Partner with FP&A, Accounts Payable, and other cross-functional teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting results. • Support accounting for key operational areas such as accrued liabilities, commissions, and other assigned balance sheet and P&L accounts. • Perform analytical reviews and explain period-over-period fluctuations and unusual trends. • Help maintain and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation to drive efficiency and accuracy. • Assist with external audit requests by preparing schedules, support, and technical explanations. • Research accounting issues and document conclusions when needed. • Contribute to ad hoc projects, reporting requests, and process improvement initiatives. • Take ownership of assigned areas and proactively identify risks, issues, and recommended solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance. • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience. • Strong knowledge of US GAAP. • Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and accrual accounting. • Experience working in an ERP system; Workday experience preferred. • Advanced Excel skills required. • CPA preferred. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams. • Ability to clearly explain accounting conclusions, assumptions, and business impacts.
