📋 Description

• Oversee monthly allocations and software capitalization processes. • Review the monthly close trial balance and financial statements; book and review adjusting entries and coordinate adjustments with the accounting team. • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on equity accounting, including 409A valuations, stock-based compensation, and deferred fulfillment matters. • Manage technical accounting for intangible assets, goodwill, leases, and fixed assets, including impairment analysis, standards compliance, asset tracking, and accounting memos. • Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations among the parent company and subsidiaries. • Lead the transition and sunsetting of legacy systems and processes from acquired entities into accounting systems; support due diligence and future M&A integration. • Partner with the business and FP&A on commentary for monthly and quarterly financial statements, Audit Committee materials, and management reporting questions. • Partner with Tax on income tax data requests, state sales tax compliance, and business tax filings. • Serve as the accounting team’s Workday system expert, supporting configuration, troubleshooting, and process improvements. • Assist with the annual audit, annual financial statements, and related disclosures. • Build relationships with FP&A, Tax, Legal, IT Systems, and Engineering stakeholders. • Serve as the accounting team AI champion and drive process efficiencies. • Build and develop a high-performing accounting team and create career development opportunities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. • Big 4 experience and CPA strongly preferred. • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management role. • Experience with Workday, Looker, Microsoft Suite, GSuite, or another large ERP. • Demonstrated experience in a public company environment, including readiness for and participation in an Initial Public Offering (IPO). • Strong technical accounting expertise, particularly related to complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to articulate complex issues to a variety of audiences. • Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize competing projects, work under pressure, and adhere to deadlines. • High emotional intelligence and ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels, within and outside the finance department. • Proven record of mentoring and developing talent. • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with a high level of integrity and professionalism. • Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment. • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods. • Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer, and other office-related equipment. • Ability to occasionally exert about 20 lbs. of force, such as lifting a computer or laptop. • Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members appropriately. • Travel as needed.
