📋 Description

• Coordinate internal and external referral orders, including specialty and imaging referrals • Schedule appointments and verify insurance • Request medical records and results, ensuring required documentation is available before appointments • Communicate updates to providers and members via telephone and messaging • Assist patients with maps, facility locations, and direct dial numbers • Manage electronic medical records and records requests • Assist providers with patient forms, including Medical Opinion and SSI Disability forms • Collaborate with providers, care team, patient support, compliance, and other staff • Route referrals, imaging orders, prior authorizations, and other orders to appropriate external providers • Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines • Ability to take meticulous notes and document actions taken • Proficient with Google Suite or related software • Critical thinking skills and ability to creatively solve problems • Work experience in a physician's office or medical institution with exposure to managed care and primary care rules and practices • Ability to be self sufficient and use resources effectively to answer questions • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities at once
