📋 Description

• Design, build, and ship features across the full stack, from database to UI • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code • Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to scope and deliver work • Debug and resolve issues across systems • Drive technical decisions and help shape architecture • Work directly with the CTO on technical strategy • Scale and unify systems and infrastructure to support hundreds of independent publishers • Review code and mentor other engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full stack software engineering experience • Expertise in TypeScript, one or more frontend frameworks, and at least one other language • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS • Experience with relational databases and API design • Ability and willingness to learn new languages and frameworks as needed • Understanding of application security best practices, including secure coding, CSP, authentication/authorization, XSS, XSRF, and SQL injection • Strong communication skills and comfort working in a remote, distributed team • Confidence writing unit and integration tests • Track record of shipping and owning production systems • Ability to own the full development lifecycle of a work product • Comfortable using AI coding tools responsibly • Experience in publishing, media, or subscription/membership platforms is nice to have • Experience with Python, PHP, or Ruby specifically is nice to have • DevOps experience with Heroku, Google Cloud, AWS, or Cloudflare is nice to have
