📋 Description

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to the Deltek applications suite • Act as the escalation point for first-tier support • Apply updates, hot-fixes, and patches for issue resolution and routine maintenance • Support client upgrades, environment refreshes, and cloud/hosted migrations, including post-change validation of reporting and integrations • Open and manage Deltek Support cases, provide diagnostics, drive resolution, and keep clients informed • Respond to customer queries by phone, email, or screen share and guide customers through problem-solving • Follow up with customers to confirm issue resolution • Troubleshoot database and application layers, including writing and tuning SQL against Costpoint databases • Support and troubleshoot the Cognos reporting layer, including reports, dashboards, Framework Manager, data modules, and report-level security • Maintain third-party application support, including Unanet, IBM Cognos, and TM1 • Assist with client documentation • Train customer users • Work occasional nights and weekends when necessary for scheduled maintenance and cutover windows

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years’ hands-on technical experience supporting an enterprise ERP environment, including troubleshooting, maintenance, patching, and hotfixes • Direct Deltek applications experience strongly preferred; deep familiarity with the Costpoint data model and modules may substitute for hands-on lifecycle experience • Strong SQL skills, including writing and tuning queries, views, and stored procedures against a major RDBMS • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server • Working knowledge of IBM Cognos Business Intelligence or Cognos Analytics • Working knowledge of networking and network protocols • Experience with Active Directory administration or application access and authentication • Experience with current Microsoft desktop operating systems and applications • Experience with Windows Server operating systems • Ability to independently drive issues and Deltek Support cases to closure • Excellent problem-solving skills and judgment about escalation • Customer service skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to work productively and organize tasks in a remote environment • Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels • Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends for maintenance and cutover windows • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at hire; no current or future employer-sponsored work authorization • Preferred: Deltek Costpoint installation, patching, hot-fixes, upgrades, or cloud/hosted migrations • Preferred: Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL familiarity • Preferred: Development in Java, C#, C++, Python, or similar, with API/SDK automation • Preferred: J2EE Application Servers familiarity • Preferred: Regulated or federal environment experience • Preferred: IT industry certificates such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or VMware • Preferred: MS Office 365 proficiency and Microsoft Teams functionality • BSc/BA in a relevant field preferred; years of experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree • Ability to meet physical requirements, including extended computer-based work and occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds
