📋 Description

• Run clients’ day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, collections, and financial reporting • Monitor team usage of internal procedures, processes, and controls • Manage onshore and offshore staff performing transactional and technical accounting activities and synthesizing client reports or analyses • Assist with financial statement preparation in compliance with official guidelines and requirements • Manage communications with vendors, customers, partners, shareholders, banks, and other interested parties • Manage journal entries and reconciliations and coordinate monthly and annual closing processes • Assist with budgets and forecasts • Review accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances • Convert customers to new accounting systems and clean up clients’ books and records • Advise and assist with technical accounting decisions • Develop models and analyses for client requests • Improve internal operations through process, technology, or structural improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Outstanding interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills • Proven experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar position • Experience across multiple industries, especially professional services, manufacturing, construction, or healthcare • Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes, including budgeting, financial closure, and reporting • Knowledge and experience of GAAP • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting • Experience with multiple accounting systems, including QuickBooks, Xero, Dynamics, NetSuite, Intacct, or similar ERP packages • Expert Excel proficiency • Ability to prioritize and stay well-organized • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field is preferred • ERP implementation experience is a plus • Professional certification such as CPA is a plus
